My Miracle

For five long years I have suffered from extreme hypoglycemia.  My insulin would soar out of control 8 to 14 times a day.  Weakness, nausea flu- like systems, which accompanied these attacks, finally forced me into early retirement from teaching, since I could no longer teach a full class period.  I dreaded going shopping, going to movies, or attending since social functions, since I never knew when or how severely these hypoglycemic attacks would occur.  Doctors and dieticians were of little assistance.  Finally, I accepted the fact that hypoglycemia was me lot in life and that was that.

            In December of 1995, I began to experience numbness and tingling in my right arm.  As the condition worsened, I contemplated seeing a chiropractor.  At the Encinitas Street Fair, I chanced upon Dr. David Melendez, and I decided right then and there to seek help.  I was concerned only about my arm.  Hypoglycemia was never mentioned, nor did I even entertain the idea of being treated for it.  I had made my peace with the fact that I would live the rest of my life with it.

            You can imagine my astonishment when after two or three adjustments; my hypoglycemia attacks had dropped to only about once a week! After my fifth adjustment it dramatically dropped to twice in twelve days! In the meantime, I told no on, not even my wife, about the transformations.  I could hardly believe that was taking place.  I needed to be sure before opening my mouth.  As of this writing, only one month into treatment, I have had no attacks of hypoglycemia for more than two weeks. 

            Thirty days of progressive healing demands statement.   I know that only God can sure and heal, but to do so he often uses human instrument.  Dr. David is his humble instrument, and I am his humble and grateful recipient.
